As the name suggests, bridge loans offer a short-term loan or a bridge that allows borrowers to make a purchase or refinance real estate property.
A good example: borrowers who are trying to buy and sell real estate they own at the same time. This also called Gap Funding or Interim Financing.
Bridge loans are a lifeline for buyers who are eager to purchase new property before they’ve sold the property they are currently in.
